NPC – Non playable character.
What is the NPC’s purpose?
To fill in a role-play that lacks in members. – This will happen at random. If you create a board in a forum that has an NPC character detected to it, chances are, you’ll be paid a visit at some point during your role-play.
To create havoc in a role-play – NPC characters can harm yours so long as someone in your party has the ability to heal. An NPC character, however, will not be looking to kill.
To set tasks – NPC characters vary in form, the [Narikey Partisan NPC] character, however, will be allowed to set the members it approaches in role-play with tasks they can either accept or refuse.
To inform – The NPC character will be up on knowledge around Deiondre, should there be certain news you may benefit from hearing, the character will share it with you.
An example task:
“I need you to retrieve a vial from Dallon for me, good sir. A friend there by the name of Vole is holding it there for me, please sometime in the near future, go talk with him. You’ll find him in Shiffon Market. Please ask for him there.”
- You’d need to go on and create a board in Shiffon Market requesting ‘NPC Vole’, roleplay out your receiving the Vial. After doing so, you’ll be given a gift – one that would vary in price. So it is your decision to take it or not.
Who are the NPC’s?
We currently have five:
[Narikey Partisan NPC] – A female follower of the Narikey, a high priest/priestess with a vast knowledge of spells.
[Vole the stall keeper NPC] – A worker of Dallon who runs Shiffon Marketplace.
[The whisperer NPC] – A secretive being whose gender, name, origin and age is unknown. The Whisperer is always seen to be wearing a large hooded cloak. He/She is very strong, seeming to know every spell under the sky. The whisperer is more often than not, the one to be spreading gossip.
[Bella NPC] – A dancer in the Weeping Willow cat house.
[Tal NPC] – A mere wanderer who originate from Kael, he tends to dwell around the Tahl River.
Who plays these NPC’s? You can.
What benefits would I get? For every role-play you enter with your NPC character, 60g would be given to your main account.
How do I apply? Send a sample roleplay to – Shy – of you playing your NPC character of choice.
Do I have to enter all roleplays? No, only those in your area and even then, you can choose not to. You can throw your character in at random, wherever and whenever you wish to.
NPC’s up for roleplay:
[Vole the stall keeper NPC] – Roams Dallon’s, Shiffon Market.
[Bella NPC] – Remains within Kael yet is more often seen in the weeping willow.
[Tal NPC] Remains in free Deiondre. [Allowing you to enter any role-play within that area.]
You haven’t outlined their [appearances, personalities, Histories et cetera] No, because this character and everything about him/her belongs to you treat him/her as your own.. you have full control over him/her. However, if we feel you are either abusing your position, or else, neglecting it, we have full rights to remove you as an NPC.
Any other questions, please contact me.
